       When to watch birds and what to bring...
       Khaoyai is known as one of the best places for bird watching in Thailand. There are about 350 species of birds including winter migrants. To watch birds can be simply done all the year, and the best season is the cold season that starts from October till February when many winter migrants start visiting the park.

       Jungle Planet provides a telescope to spot birds and a bird guidebook but you should bring you own binoculars, a hat, a long-sleeved jacket.
